Getting Started with TicketBot
Invite TicketBot to your server
To get started, you'll need to invite TicketBot to your Discord server. You can do this by clicking the "Invite" button on the TicketBot website or by using the following invite link: https://ticketbot.dev/invite
Premissions Required
When inviting TicketBot, make sure the user who is inviting the bot has the "Manage Server" permission.
Create roles, channels, and categories
Next, you'll need to set up the necessary roles, channels, and categories in your Discord server for TicketBot to function properly. This typically includes:
- Creating a "Support" role for your staff members who will be handling tickets
- Setting up a category and text channels for ticket creation and management
- Optionally, creating additional categories for different types of tickets
Refer to the TicketBot documentation for detailed instructions on how to configure these server settings.
Log into TicketBot's dashboard
Once you've invited the bot and set up your server, head over to the TicketBot dashboard and log in using your Discord account. This will allow you to further customize the bot's settings and manage your ticket system.
Selecting your server
Locate the server you want to manage in the dashboard and click on it to select it. This will take you to the server-specific settings and management options.
